Brooklyn native, and YSL alum, Dellin Betances showed why the New York Yankees selected him with an eighth-round pick in the 2006 Draft. Dellin allowed one hit and struck out eight over six dazzling innings as Class A Advanced Tampa one-hit Dunedin, 3-0, in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 22nd.

In other news, congratulations goes out to another YSL alum, Adam Ottavino. Adam had his Major League debut on May 29, 2010. Ottavino was drafted by the Cardinals out of Northeastern University in the first round (30th overall) of the 2006 MLB Draft.
